Well, I am no longer sure that I will be able to include a cause in the live showcases. The non-profit organization had to back out due to conflict reasons, which I completely understand. However, there are very few venues where I could hold the live showcase that DON’T serve alcohol.
I need to think about it. In the meantime, there is one other thing I can do: I can take the songs that have been submitted and record more shows.
Speaking of the podcasts themselves, I have decided to execute the following change: from now on, it will be only 10 songs per show instead of 15. Right now I am sitting on 72 songs, so theoretically this would give me 7 more shows.
I say “theoretically” because I still want to stick to my rule of only one song per band per show. This might not work out with the songs that I currently have not assigned to any shows because some bands submitted more songs than others. Still, I will find a way to get a balance somehow.
