Well, finally…some GREAT news!
I talked with someone from Equinox, the charity that I want DCD to partner with because they assist victims of domestic violence. I also talked with the owner of the Low Beat. Turns out setting this up was MUCH easier than I thought.
As for income, the Low Beat wants the security and sound guy covered. The amount is low enough where I can do that out of pocket. When it comes to the bands, they will be made aware up front that they are playing a charity show. If they don’t like not getting paid, then they don’t have to be on the bill. All that remains is securing a date for the show, which is in progress.
Oh, and of course there is no point in having the LIVE show until the podcast has played…so do you know what that means, ladies and gentlemen?
